Joiner Accountant

About the role

Avayo Middle East, a Saudi-based company that designs, develops and markets communication infrastructure and raised floor solutions, is hiring a Joiner Accountant. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Peshawar, Pakistan, supporting day-to-day accounting operations.

Key responsibilities

• Record financial transactions and reconcile accounts
• Assist with payroll and expense processing
• Help prepare basic financial reports and maintain up-to-date ledgers
• Ensure accurate documentation and filing of financial records
• Collaborate with senior accounting staff on month-end and year-end closing
• Respond to internal inquiries and follow company policies and local regulatory requirements
• Work with cross-functional teams and support process improvements

Required profile

• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, including journal entries, ledgers, reconciliations and financial reporting
• Relevant academic background, such as a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
• Prior internship or junior accounting experience preferred; familiarity with manufacturing or infrastructure sectors is an advantage
• Ability to work on-site in Peshawar full time, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
