Owner - Banking

About the role

Bank of Khyber is looking for an Owner for a full-time, on-site position in Peshawar. The role oversees the bank's strategic direction and overall performance, providing leadership on long-term vision, financial goals and risk management while keeping the bank aligned with regulatory requirements and public-sector mandates.

Key responsibilities

• Review key operational and financial reports and guide senior management
• Approve major initiatives and monitor branch network growth and service quality
• Engage with stakeholders, including government representatives and regulatory bodies, to support transparency, governance and sustainable expansion
• Foster an inclusive workplace culture and uphold the bank's values of integrity, accountability and customer focus

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in senior leadership or executive roles in banking, financial services or related sectors
• Advanced academic background in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field; professional certifications in banking or finance are an advantage
• Ability to work on-site in Peshawar and devote full time to the bank's strategic and operational priorities

Required skills

• Strong understanding of commercial banking operations, regulatory frameworks, risk management and corporate governance
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans, manage complex portfolios and guide large, multi-branch organizations
• Analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial and operational data
• Effective communication and stakeholder management, including with government authorities, regulators and board members
• Commitment to ethical conduct, transparency, diversity and inclusion
