Maintenance Manager – Regional Operations

About the role

The Maintenance Manager (Regional Operations) leads operational maintenance delivery across the region, ensuring budget compliance and supporting the Customer Value Proposition. A major focus is on HSSE compliance, supplier performance, and proactive service management.

Key responsibilities

• Validate HSSE delivery for at least 70% of time and act as the focal point for all HSSE requirements.
• Accredit new suppliers, maintain re‑accreditation, and manage the Permit to Work (PTW) system, including training and qualification checks.
• Conduct asset condition surveys, verify invoices, and perform quality checks on maintenance and repair work.
• Prepare and present operational performance data for bi‑weekly and monthly Market Unit meetings.
• Monitor spend versus plan, adjust forecasts, and manage procurement strategy with the Supply Chain Manager.
• Coordinate emergency call‑outs, ‘make‑safe’ situations, and liaise with the Project Management Contractor to minimise site disruption.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of facilities maintenance experience with strong HSSE management.
• Experience maintaining fuel station sites or in the petroleum industry is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and proficiency in a local/regional language.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Maximo asset management system.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
