About the role
The Manager Sales – Trade will lead and develop the sales team across METRO's wholesale centers in Pakistan, driving performance, growth and profitability.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze weekly, monthly and quarterly sales performance, margins, profitability and take corrective actions.
- Identify business growth opportunities through sales and stock analysis.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and monitor target group customers.
- Conduct market surveys, monitor competitors and recommend action plans.
- Participate in customer portfolio selection with the Area Manager.
- Manage, motivate, train and monitor sales staff to optimize performance.
- Increase new buying customers through effective activation.
- Manage budgets including personnel costs, bonuses, incentives, advertising and promotions.
- Coordinate with Head Office and Store Operations to achieve business results.
- Coach team members and support their professional development.
Required profile
- Graduation degree.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant sales management experience.
