NDT Lead – Advanced Inspection Services

About the role

The NDT Lead will head BV Pakistan’s nondestructive testing (NDT) service line, overseeing both conventional and advanced inspection techniques. Reporting to the Head of Industry, the role is based in Karachi and focuses on delivering high-quality inspection services that meet international standards while driving business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the NDT service line, including multi-site operations and high-pressure shutdown projects.
• Develop, review, and approve NDT procedures, inspection plans, and advanced methodologies (PAUT, TOFD, MFL, Guided Wave).
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards such as ASME, API, ISO 9712 and SNT‑TC‑1A.
• Provide technical support for complex inspections, failure investigations, and heat-exchanger tube integrity assessments.
• Support business development through technical proposals, cost estimation, and tender preparation.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
• Drive operational excellence, KPI achievement, and continuous improvement of service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of NDT experience with proven leadership in an industrial environment.
• NDT Level III certification (ASNT/PCN or equivalent) covering UT, ET, RT, MT, PT, AE, VT.
• B.E. technical degree or equivalent technical knowledge.
• Strong decision-making, planning, and resource-management skills.
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
