Network & DevOps Engineer

About the role

This role combines AWS cloud infrastructure, DevOps automation and enterprise network security. You will design, deploy and maintain secure, scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure, run CI/CD pipelines, manage office IT and network security, and support production incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Route 53, ALB/NLB, CloudFront, Auto Scaling) and serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, EventBridge)
• Apply AWS security services (WAF, Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector, IAM, KMS, Shield) and implement IaC with Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Git, Docker and Kubernetes where applicable
• Administer Linux servers (Nginx, security hardening, patching, troubleshooting) and monitor performance, logging, alerting and incident response
• Run backup, disaster recovery, business continuity and high-availability strategies; plan upgrades, vulnerability remediation, capacity and costs
• Configure LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, DNS, routing and switching, and NGFW firewalls (preferably Fortinet FortiGate)
• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Google Workspace and endpoint security, and automate provisioning and deployments
• Troubleshoot production incidents, maintain network diagrams and documentation, and work with development and IT teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in AWS cloud, DevOps, network engineering or systems administration
• Hands-on experience with AWS, serverless architecture, cloud security and DevOps automation
• Practical experience with enterprise networking, virtualization, firewalls and network security appliances
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Intune and endpoint management
• Analytical, troubleshooting and documentation skills; able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• AWS, Fortinet or Microsoft certifications are an advantage
