Product Manager - House Finance

About the role

The Product Manager – House Finance will lead the design, launch and ongoing management of mortgage‑related products. You will ensure that offerings are customer‑centric, competitively priced, compliant with State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations and, where required, Shariah‑compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Design, launch and manage house‑finance products that meet market demand while maintaining profitability.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to refine product features, pricing and turnaround times.
• Drive product performance through volume growth, yield optimisation and portfolio quality improvement.
• Lead new financing solution initiatives and enhance existing offerings based on evolving customer needs.
• Streamline the loan lifecycle via IT enablement and digitalisation to improve efficiency and customer experience.
• Monitor product profitability by analysing cost of funds, risk‑adjusted returns and operational expenses.
• Collaborate with IT, Digital, Risk, Operations and sales teams for seamless product implementation and compliance.
• Provide structured product training and go‑to‑market support to sales teams.
• Track key performance indicators and continuously refine strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Banking or Business Administration (MBA/M.Com preferred).
• 5–7 years of experience launching successful housing‑finance products in a bank, micro‑finance institution or housing‑finance company.
• Prior exposure to sales, credit or operations related to home loans is advantageous.
• Relevant certifications (Risk Management, Credit Analysis, Product Management) are a plus.
