Project Engineer

About the role

PMI is seeking a Project Engineer to lead engineering projects that enhance the performance of its Operations network. You will work on initiatives that drive safety, productivity, quality, compliance and innovation across our global supply chain as we transition to smoke‑free products.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate and execute engineering projects aimed at improving operational performance.
• Monitor Capex execution and track project progress on a monthly basis.
• Define project scope with senior management, create detailed work plans and schedules, and allocate required resources.
• Ensure compliance with sustainability policies, health‑and‑safety legislation and ISO standards (9001, 14001, 18001) throughout project life‑cycle.
• Coordinate work requests, review technical drawings and documentation, and approve deliverables within defined timelines.
• Maintain project documentation, technical archives and support equipment installation activities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001 standards.
• Familiarity with PMI Quality Management System (QMS) and AWS requirements.
