Project Procurement Analyst

About the role

The UNDP Rule of Law Programme in Pakistan strengthens the rule of law and equal access to justice and security services, especially for women and marginalized groups, across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and Islamabad Capital Territory. The Project Procurement Analyst provides procurement planning, coordination and management support for programme activities, facilitating transparent, competitive, timely and value-for-money procurement of goods, services, works and specialized technical expertise in line with UNDP procurement policies and procedures. The post reports to the Project Operations and Finance Analyst.

Key responsibilities

• Lead procurement planning: prepare, update and monitor the programme procurement plan, advise on procurement strategies, methods, sequencing and timelines, and identify risks and opportunities for consolidation.
• Coordinate solicitation and evaluation: review and quality-check requisitions, terms of reference, technical specifications and bills of quantities; manage solicitations and respond to bidder queries; support bid evaluation and prepare award recommendations.
• Support contract award, administration and vendor performance monitoring, including amendments and extensions, while maintaining segregation of duties and confidentiality.
• Work with technical and operations colleagues and Country Office partners, and handle technically complex requirements such as infrastructure, refurbishment, ICT equipment and digital solutions.
