Sales Officer – Chemicals & Industrial Products

About the role

We are seeking an energetic and results‑driven Sales Officer to sell chemicals, solvents, flavours and related industrial products to B2B customers. The role focuses on developing new business across multiple sectors and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Sell chemicals, solvents, flavours and related products to industrial B2B customers.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in chemical, food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and related industries.
• Understand customer requirements and present suitable product solutions.
• Achieve sales targets, KPIs and business development goals.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and ensure retention.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and new product opportunities.
• Follow up on customer payments and support debt recovery/collections.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order and customer management.
• Travel within Karachi and other areas as required for business development.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in chemicals, food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics or related industries.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Marketing, Business or a related field.
• Strong negotiation and bargaining skills.
• Good understanding of industrial products and relevant markets.
• Proven ability in business development, relationship management and customer retention.
• Confident, presentable, proactive and target‑oriented with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Familiarity with sales software.
