About the role
The Sales Officer will excel at creating and closing new opportunities using a consultative selling approach. This role involves identifying and qualifying leads to generate sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
Key responsibilities
- Actively prospect and acquire new clients through cold calling, networking, field visits and referrals.
- Conduct market research to identify business opportunities and trends.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets, building strong client relationships and providing customised solutions.
- Provide product demonstrations, presentations and prepare proposals, contracts and agreements.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, analysing market trends and competitor activities.
- Coordinate with production, logistics and finance teams to manage inventory, cash flow and accounts receivable.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience with a proven track record of over‑achieving quota.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
