Senior iOS Developer

About the role

This position is for an experienced iOS developer who designs, develops, tests and maintains high-quality mobile applications on the iOS platform. The role works closely with Product Managers, designers, backend developers and QA engineers in Agile teams, and covers everything from translating UI/UX designs into interfaces to App Store releases.

Key responsibilities

• Build scalable, secure, high-performance iOS apps using Swift and Objective-C, and translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into responsive interfaces.
• Write clean, documented code and fix defects, crashes and performance issues.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs, and create and maintain unit and UI tests.
• Ensure compliance with Apple's policies, security, accessibility and App Store requirements.
• Take part in CI/CD, release management and App Store deployments.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and stay up to date with iOS technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional iOS application development experience.
• Strong understanding of iOS architecture and lifecycle; experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting and performance optimization skills, with good communication and teamwork.

Required skills

• Swift and Objective-C; Xcode and iOS SDK.
• RESTful APIs, JSON and third-party SDKs; Git (Bitbucket, GitHub or GitLab).
• Unit and UI testing, CI/CD tools and automated pipelines.
• Preferred: Core Bluetooth (BLE), NFC, barcode/QR scanning, App Store publishing, design patterns and clean code.
