Study Start‑Up Coordinator (Clinical Trials)

About the role

The Study Start‑Up Coordinator ensures study startup timelines are met and coordinates cross‑functional activities to prepare sites for initiation visits and activation. This position acts as the central hub for monitoring dependencies, mitigating delays, and guaranteeing operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Track study startup timelines aligned with project milestones and activation goals.
• Coordinate cross‑functional activities required for site initiation visits (SIVs) and ensure all prerequisites are completed on schedule.
• Collaborate with Regulatory, QA, Marketing, Finance, and Clinical teams to monitor deliverables, identify bottlenecks, and escalate risks.
• Maintain accurate startup reports, dashboards, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Support risk management by identifying potential issues, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring timely resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Sciences, Life Sciences, Pharmacy or related field (MBBS, BDS, Pharm‑D preferred).
• Minimum 1 year of experience in clinical research or study startup coordination.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements, clinical trial startup processes, and site activation workflows.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
