Technical Documentation Specialist – Data Management

About the role

The Technical Documentation Specialist – Data Management will organise, structure and maintain internal engineering and experimental data for Metal Formings Pvt (Ltd). Working closely with engineering teams, you will transform raw inputs into clear, standardized digital documents using Microsoft Office tools.

Key responsibilities

• Collect raw technical and experimental data from engineers and various departments.
• Convert handwritten notes, rough records, spreadsheets and verbal inputs into structured documentation.
• Prepare and maintain documents using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Organise data in standardized formats to enable easy retrieval and analysis.
• Maintain document indexing, revision histories and version control.
• Ensure proper naming, regular updates, systematic archiving and quick retrieval of files.
• Coordinate with engineers to verify and clarify missing or unclear information.
• Implement and monitor document management systems across departments.
• Proofread documentation for technical accuracy, professional formatting and compliance.
• Support quality‑assurance processes by providing well‑maintained records for audits.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in technical documentation or data management.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a technical environment and handle large volumes of data.
• Excellent written communication and professional language use.
• Comfortable collaborating with engineering teams.
