Textile Engineer (Supply Chain Focus)

About the role

Penna Overseas Corp. is hiring a Textile Engineer with a strong background in Supply Chain Management. The engineer oversees textile production processes while optimizing the supply chain so that materials and finished products are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end textile production processes such as weaving, knitting, dyeing and finishing.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies for raw materials and finished goods.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics and production teams to streamline operations.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Use ERP and SCM software to track inventory and logistics.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, sustainability goals and industry regulations.
• Analyze production and supply chain metrics for continuous improvement.
• Resolve issues related to delays, material shortages and quality control.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Textile Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in textile manufacturing and/or supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of textile machinery, materials and production workflows.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
