Vice President, Technical – Manufacturing Leadership

About the role

The Vice President, Technical will lead the end‑to‑end technical and manufacturing agenda for a leading Food & Beverage company in Pakistan. Reporting to the CEO, this executive will drive operational excellence, innovation, and sustainability across multiple production sites.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a long‑term Technical & Manufacturing strategy aligned with growth, profitability and sustainability goals.
• Lead manufacturing operations across several food processing facilities, ensuring safe, efficient and cost‑effective production.
• Drive operational excellence through productivity improvement, asset optimisation, cost reduction and lean manufacturing practices.
• Oversee engineering, maintenance and reliability strategies to maximise plant uptime.
• Manage major CAPEX projects from feasibility to commissioning, ensuring ROI and timely delivery.
• Champion digital transformation initiatives including automation, AI, IoT, robotics and predictive maintenance.
• Ensure world‑class quality, food safety, occupational health and environmental compliance.
• Build and lead a high‑performing technical organisation with strong succession planning and capability development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management or an MBA is preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, engineering or technical leadership, preferably within the food & beverage sector.
