Wing Head – Leadership Development (VP / SVP)

About the role

The Wing Head – Leadership Development will lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of leadership programs aligned with the bank’s strategic objectives. Reporting to the Divisional Head Capability, Culture & Corporate Impact, this senior role shapes the future leadership pipeline for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate, design and lead leadership development programs that support the bank’s overall business strategy.
• Assess existing programs, make recommendations, and ensure they reflect current market trends.
• Develop in‑house training modules and collaborate with external vendors when outsourcing is required.
• Evaluate and update course materials regularly to stay current with industry best practices.
• Partner with Group Chiefs and Managers to create programs that strengthen core leadership attributes.
• Design competency‑based assessment centers to identify high‑potential talent.
• Prepare succession and development plans for high‑potential and critical staff.
• Communicate development initiatives to internal stakeholders and produce dashboards and presentations for senior management.
• Manage the budget for all leadership development activities.

Required profile

• Minimum graduation from a recognized university; a master’s degree or professional certification is preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in Learning & Development, Leadership Development or Human Resources.
• Proven experience in creating and delivering leadership training programs.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work closely with senior leaders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
