Electrical Technician – After Sales Maintenance (Diesel Generator)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Electrical Technician to join Synergy’s after‑sales maintenance team in Karachi. The role focuses on ensuring reliable operation of diesel generators and related electrical equipment through on‑site service, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service and technical support during field visits.
• Perform on‑site installation, electrical repair and routine maintenance of generators within the assigned territory.
• Diagnose electrical faults, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed service reports, work orders, expense reports and timesheets.
• Coordinate with the technical team and management to resolve complex issues.
• Evaluate equipment for warranty, maintenance and upgrade needs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, warranty contracts and installation documentation.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe handling of equipment.

Required profile

• Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical.
• 2–3 years of experience in after‑sales maintenance (ASM) of power generation equipment.
• Strong hands‑on experience with genset troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Field service experience is preferred.
