About the role
National Foods Limited is seeking a proactive Territory Sales Manager to lead sales activities in the Jampur region. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth by managing distributors, order bookers, and implementing effective sales strategies across the assigned territory.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly unit‑wise and value‑wise targets for the assigned territory.
- Set daily targets for order bookers and allocate them to specific outlets.
- Generate and share sales reports by territory and product category to monitor KPI achievement.
- Coach and monitor order bookers, ensuring they have full product knowledge and resources to meet targets.
- Conduct regular market visits to ensure outlet coverage, understand market dynamics, and capture customer insights.
- Execute trade‑marketing activities at all assigned outlets according to the trade‑marketing plan.
- Plan sales efforts and design Planned Journey Plans (PJPs) based on territory analysis and route‑to‑market insights.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key distributors, aligning mutually beneficial objectives.
- Manage budgets, forecast sales, and make decisions that maximize returns while controlling costs.
Required profile
- Graduate degree (any discipline).
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably within FMCG or food products.
- Strong analytical and business orientation with the ability to interpret sales data.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Capability to lead and motivate a team of order bookers and distributors.
