Senior Officer Inspection

About the role

The Senior Officer Inspection will support QA operations by managing inspection data, reporting KPIs, coordinating with vendors for material testing, and assisting during material inspections and FAT activities. This role ensures efficient quality assurance processes and compliance with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Digitize and maintain hard copies of delivery challans and FAT test reports, and monitor cloud storage for digital records.
• Coordinate calibration of laboratory equipment and inspection tools through third‑party providers.
• Manage external laboratory testing charges, liaise with lab engineers, and share reports with customers.
• Post, extract, analyze, and report inspection data in the SAP QM module and report KPI metrics.
• Coordinate with vendors for sample testing, warranty claims, and repair/replacement of transmission and distribution material.
• Participate in ISO 17020 and ISO 17025 accreditation and surveillance audits.
• Collaborate with IT to resolve department‑related IT issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BBA or equivalent).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in QA inspection or similar roles.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP QM module for inspection data management.
• Experience in calibration management and external laboratory testing coordination.
