Area Sales Manager – Edible Oil Industry

About the role

DSD Recruitment is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead regional sales growth for a leading organization in the edible oil industry. The role focuses on expanding distribution networks, managing sales teams and building strong relationships with key market stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional targets.
• Manage and expand the distribution network across the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers and other stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer demands to identify new business opportunities.
• Lead, guide and motivate the sales team to meet business objectives.
• Oversee sales planning, forecasting and performance monitoring.
• Analyze sales performance and implement strategies to improve market share and profitability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the edible oil industry.
• Strong understanding of sales operations, distribution management and regional market dynamics.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing effective strategies.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Strong analytical, planning and time‑management skills.
