Human Resources Officer – Payroll & Statutory Compliance

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Human Resources Officer to manage payroll, EOBI, and Social Security compliance for our Islamabad office. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical abilities with a solid grasp of Pakistan’s labour legislation to ensure accurate payroll processing and statutory reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Process and administer monthly payroll accurately and within defined timelines.
• Ensure full compliance with EOBI and Employees' Social Security regulations, including registrations, amendments, contributions, and timely submission of returns.
• Liaise with EOBI and Social Security authorities for inspections, audits, documentation, and resolution of compliance matters.
• Maintain precise records of employee enrollments, contributions, benefits, and statutory documentation.
• Respond to employee queries regarding payroll, statutory deductions, EOBI, and Social Security benefits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with payroll and statutory compliance exposure.
• Sound knowledge of Pakistan labour laws and HR statutory requirements.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience in payroll processing.
• Expertise in EOBI compliance.
• Expertise in Social Security compliance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Familiarity with HRIS/payroll software.
