Inverter Repairing and Maintenance Person

About the role

Yinergy is seeking a full‑time Inverter Repairing and Maintenance Person to join its Islamabad team. The role combines on‑site service visits with workshop repairs, ensuring hybrid, on‑grid and off‑grid inverters operate reliably for residential, commercial and industrial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose faults in hybrid, on‑grid and off‑grid inverters at customer locations.
• Perform repairs, replace faulty components and carry out preventive maintenance.
• Update firmware and adjust configurations as required.
• Test equipment using multimeters, oscilloscopes and other diagnostic tools.
• Document all work, maintain service records and provide usage advice to customers.
• Coordinate with technical and sales teams to resolve escalated issues.
• Follow electrical safety standards and company procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Hands‑on experience with inverter repair, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Familiarity with solar PV and energy storage systems.
• Strong understanding of local electrical codes and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and travel locally to customer sites.

Required skills

• Electrical and electronic diagnostics using multimeters and testing equipment.
• Component replacement, wiring and firmware updates.
• Knowledge of solar PV system design and operation.
• Use of digital tools such as mobile apps and service management software.
