Production Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily paper bag manufacturing operations at our facility in Islamabad. The role ensures safe, efficient production while meeting quality and delivery targets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily paper bag manufacturing operations, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Manage production schedules and assign tasks to staff.
• Monitor output, quality, and resolve issues affecting delivery.
• Supervise and coach production staff, conduct shift meetings.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and logistics to minimize downtime.
• Track key performance indicators and maintain accurate production records.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Required profile

• Strong supervisory skills with experience in team leadership and performance monitoring.
• Experience in production planning and meeting output, quality, and delivery targets.
• Background in production management, resource allocation, workflow optimization, and problem‑solving on the shop floor.
• Effective communication for cross‑functional coordination.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or packaging, preferably paper products.
• Knowledge of safety standards and quality control in a factory environment.
• Diploma or degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical or related field (preferred).
• Willingness to work shifts and remain on‑site as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (or similar) for documentation and tracking.
• Ability to use basic production reporting tools.
