About the role
We are seeking a Senior Structural Analysis Engineer to lead the structural design and verification of aerospace subsystems. You will work on cutting‑edge aircraft and UAV programs, applying advanced analysis methods to ensure safety, performance, and compliance with certification standards.
Key responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end structural analysis of assigned subsystems such as wing, fuselage, empennage, landing gear, fuel systems, or mechanisms.
- Perform preliminary sizing, develop spar, rib, and frame architectures, and create detailed structural layouts.
- Develop and execute finite‑element analyses, including linear, nonlinear, contact, and buckling assessments.
- Conduct hand calculations to validate FEA results and confirm structural margins.
- Define load cases, material allowables, and design margins; document analysis methodology and assumptions.
- Perform modal, harmonic, and vibration analyses and interpret dynamic behavior.
- Plan and support structural tests, correlate test data with predictions, and refine models.
- Review junior engineers’ models and reports, providing technical mentorship.
- Prepare and present analysis reports for internal stakeholders and design reviews.
Required profile
- B.S. or M.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (M.S. preferred).

- Experience with UAV or aircraft airframe development across the full product lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers or lead analysis work packages.
Required skills
- Proficiency with industry FEA tools such as MSC Nastran/Patran, ANSYS, Abaqus, HyperWorks.
- Strong knowledge of solid mechanics, structural dynamics, vibration, stability/buckling, fatigue and fracture mechanics.
- Experience with metallic and composite aerospace structures and lightweight design.
- Test correlation experience (static, vibration, fatigue) and data‑reduction skills.
- Hands‑on experience with multibody dynamics tools (e.g., MSC Adams, Simpack).
- Ability to perform hand calculations, modal and harmonic analyses, and apply structural certification standards.
