About the role
CCL Pharmaceuticals is seeking a District Sales Manager to lead sales performance across a defined district. The role involves achieving sales targets, managing a team of Sales Promotion Officers, and strengthening relationships with healthcare professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Drive district‑level sales performance by meeting assigned targets through effective territory management and execution excellence.
- Monitor sales trends, analyse performance data and implement corrective actions to ensure business objectives are met.
- Conduct accompanied field visits to reinforce marketing strategies, company policies and customer engagement plans while coaching Sales Promotion Officers.
- Optimise doctor coverage, improve territory utilisation and build strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
- Lead field‑force capability development through training, appraisals and performance evaluations, and contribute to talent decisions.
- Organise scientific activities, medical engagements and district sales meetings to enhance brand presence and team alignment.
Required profile
- Graduation in Science (preferably pre‑medical) from an HEC‑recognised institute.
- 5–6 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, including 1–2 years as a District Sales Manager.
- Mandatory experience in the Gynecology segment.
- Strong understanding of territory management and sales leadership.
- Proven ability to lead, coach and motivate field sales teams.
Required skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Word, email and internet tools.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making capability.
